Last year we installed a reading "loft" large enough for a whole class to climb up and read!  We also added a wall to make our library a more enclosed and cozy space. We would like for our library to be a place where the fantastical world of books becomes reality.

We are proud to have added a wide selection of books and manipulatives including the Corduroy book and puppet, Elmer, Chicka-Chicka-Boom-Boom book and coconut tree, Curious George books and puppet, Clifford, The Big Red Dog, and many other stuffed friends to help stories come alive.

We have  purchased the Winnebago automation system and  have our children checking out books to take home and read with their families.

We are trying to encourage family literacy and create life-long learners. Future plans include painting murals (ocean, jungle, prehistoric scenes) and beginning a family reading night series "The Chrysallis Reading Program" where parents and children can come together at Anderson and experiences the joy of books.
