Anderson and "Miss" Beth Ann were very proud to host our second annual Art Exhibit in March. This year the exhibit was housed in the music room and was co-hosted by "Miss" Ginger, our music specialist. The exhibit opened on Parent-Teacher Conference Day and we had many parents visit and see their child's work displayed. The children too were excited to see their creations hanging up for the whole school to admire. "Miss" Beth Ann has been very influential in expanding the experiences of our students and encouraging them to explore their creativity. This year we added a kiln to the art department and the clay creatures, pots, and sculptures that our students have created are stunning. She has been researching various methods of teaching young children to draw and hopes to implement some of these new techniques soon. |
